Shandon Sweets – Ireland’s Last Producer Of Handmade Sweets?

Roger Overall has written a very interesting and informative post about sweet makers Dan and Tony Linehan of Shandon Sweets. Based in Cork the father and son team are unique in today's automated age in that they still produce their sweets by hand. The company has been in existence since 1928 when Dan's father set up shop in the the same building that Shandon Sweets operates from today.

Roger has illustrated the sweet making process with his excellent photography. Read the full post here. CorkFood.ie is edited and curated by Roger Overall,  professional photographer, filmmaker and blogger with a big interest in food.
